Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar.,
Bacco is located just yards from the harbour just opposite the Prince William statue and is near the main town centre car park but off the main road in a quiet alley.
The wine bar has a modern, continental atmosphere and the separate restaurant, which can seat 32, is more traditional and cosy.
The menu offers a large choice of Italian dishes from starters through to desserts but this will evolve with new dishes appearing on specials boards from time to time.
The wine list features mainly Italian wines, which is not unexpected from a restaurant named after the god of wine, who planted the first vines in Sicily, and these are supplemented with a small selection of New World wines.
Although Bacco has only just opened, Mario is already putting together a Christmas Party menu so if you want to be sure of good food in a great atmosphere book now.
